Greg Bollard recommended that the firms staff be under the first pages people photo as that was one of the first things he thinks is important to a law firms information. The link still works(before this), but I thought I would include Greg's suggestion due to his qualifications and the number of law firm sites he has visited. Gavin Parsons

Managing Director

Gavin holds a Diploma of Laws (LPAB) and a Diploma of Legal Practice.

Immediately prior to opening his own law firm in April 2014, Gavin refined his legal skills as a Senior Associate at a medium-sized law firm based in the Sydney CBD.  During these years Gavin demonstrated his unique abilities and passion for the law whilst acting for a wide range of clientele providing quality legal advice in a diverse range of legal fields.

Prior to commencing private practice in 2009, Gavin had a successful career with various NSW State Government agencies over a period of nine years. Gavin spent several years at the Victims Compensation Tribunal and the Office of Fair Trading and also served as Manager of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Registry. Gavin has been practicing in and around the law for 20+ years.

Commercial Litigation - acting for individuals and businesses in commercial matters including trade practices, debt recovery, corporate law and commercial contracts

Commercial and Business Law - drafting and/or negotiating a broad range of contracts, agreements and legal documents for all sizes of companies and businesses.  Advising clients on a wide range of legal issues including corporations law, trade practices, competition and consumer laws and both state and federal legislative requirements

Employment law - acting for employers and employees. Preparing, updating and implementing workplace policies, assisting with the performance of workplace investigations to minimise liability and manage risks, dispute resolution; and litigation including appearing in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia

Bankruptcy and Insolvency - acting for and advising individuals and companies facing bankruptcy or insolvency. Acting for and advising Administrators and Liquidators regarding the administration or liquidation of small and medium companies including strategy, recovery, settlement, the realisation of assets and other bankruptcy and insolvency issues

Estate and Succession Planning - advising clients, preparing and drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Guardianship instruments

Intellectual Property - advising and acting for companies and individuals in relation to trade marks, passing off, copyright, business reputations and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Administrative Law - advising clients, preparing applications, acting for individuals and businesses and appearing in various government tribunals including Victims Compensation Tribunal, Consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal and Administrative Decisions Tribunal which as of January 2014 were all incorporated into the new NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Nicholas Jarosz

Senior Associate

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts (Spanish), a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Master of Laws.

Admitted to practice in 2015, Nicholas’ early practice on criminal law, property law and general litigation. Over the years,  Nicholas’ practice has evolved to focus on the areas of commercial law, corporate law and insolvency law. He also acts in employment disputes and succession proceedings, particularly in cases involving business disputes, trusts, or serious allegations of impropriety.

An area of particular expertise is disputes between Company Directors and Shareholders.

Nicholas regularly litigates matters in the local court, district court, supreme court, federal court. He also appears in the Fair Work tribunal, NCAT, and Land and Environment Court.

Nicholas combines his litigation work with transactional and advisory work, often assisting clients with commercial transactions, complex property transactions including call options, insolvency issues, issues regarding company and charity constitutions, and employment contracts.

Cameron is a senior paralegal undertaking his Master of Laws at UNSW. Cameron brings established experience in insolvency law to his academic and professional pursuits and is developing his expertise across tax law, trusts, and other areas of commercial practice. Cameron is dedicated to producing great results for clients.

Michael is Juris Doctor graduate from the University of New South Wales and works across insolvency, estates, and land law.
